Rehabilitation
Functional movement requires mobility and stability at multiple joints. Often, faulty movement patterns lead to pain. It is important to note that pain in a specific area of the body is rarely caused by the tissue in which is presents. As physical therapists who understand the complex movements required for sport as well as daily life, we employ an eclectic treatment approach that involves treating you and not just your pain. We evaluate and analyze the mobility and stability your body possesses to perform functional movements to determine the true etiology and develop a comprehensive plan that is perfect for you.

Dry Needling
A myofascial trigger point is a taut band of skeletal muscle. These rope-like knots may cause acute or chronic pain, muscle weakness, restricted mobility, and limited function. Dry needling is based on the Western medical model and numerous scientific studies demonstrate its efficacy. As the patient’s soft tissue becomes more mobile, referred pain from the associated trigger point typically decreases. In addition, strength, range of motion, and function improves.
